Occupational Therapy uses a whole person perspective to work with people to achieve optimal health and wellbeing through participation in the occupations of life.
The term ‘occupation’ is used to describe all the everyday things we do in our life roles, the things we do to be who we are, the things we do to create a meaningful life and to engage in society.
Occupational therapists help people to participate in activities they find meaningful.

Yes. Although we have extensive experience with neurological conditions, brain injury and spinal cord injury we can see people with other conditions and disabilities.
Your Occupational Therapist will be in touch to make a time to come and see you at home at a time that suits you. Allow 60 to 90 minutes for this first session. The focus of this visit is to get to know you and find out what you are able to do and what you may need support with. We may do some assessments of your abilities if this is relevant.
After that we will work out a therapy plan with you. As every person is unique, we make sure your therapy plan reflects your specific situation and goals.
Frequency and duration of ongoing appointments will depend on your individual circumstances.
